The Convert is a full scale Bow kite from leading edge to trailing edge. This design delivers an incredibly wide wind range, stable easy handling and perhaps the most important feature on any kite ..... an enhanced relaunch function that is second to none.

RELAUNCH ON COMMAND

The Convert’s relaunch capability is so easy that your hands never have to leave the control system. By simply pointing the end of the control system towards the kite, the wing tip will rise off of the water and launch the kite into the sky. Unlike other relaunch methods, The Convert allows you to decide when to launch the kite and which direction it goes into the air. Its simple... and it keeps the control in your hands... where it should be.

Two of the elements credited for the Convert’s amazing relaunch are: The curved shape of the leading edge and the swept wing tips. Together they allow the kite to “unstick” by reducing contact to the water or snow when the leading edge is face down. The constant curvature of the leading edge allows the kite to easily roll onto a wing tip and lift off the water.

The Bow kite bridle is also responsible for allowing you to choose the direction you would like to launch the kite. This clearly puts the Convert in a class of its own amongst a sea of hybrid kites which don’t allow this function. This important function becomes an added safety feature when your kite is sitting next to an obstacle like rocks, a pier, other riders or swimmers.

For example: if you want to lift the right facing wing tip just point the right side of the control system directly at the kite and hold until the wing tip rises off of the water. When the kite launches you can easily control how fast or how slow you’d like it to fly.

If you want to speed up the relaunch process you can always just grab a leader line instead, flip the kite on its side and shoot it up into the sky. The Convert’s easy relaunch sets a new standard in kite control. Simple. Fast. And at your command.

The feature packed Convert comes standard with: Sprint. Our single point inflation system. You can easily inflate the kite by connecting the pump to a single valve.

Override 2. The ability to depower on demand by just pushing the control bar away from the rider.

The Convert comes with our versatile Powerdrive 2N1 S control system. The 2N1 S control system allows you to ride in either the 2:1 pulley mode or the 1:1 mode with the pulleys disabled.

In 2:1 mode the pulleys effectively double the steering, powering and depowering inputs. For the amount of distance you move the control bar you effectively double the reaction on the kite. This creates precision control, rocket fast turning, and puts you in charge of your kite at all times.

In 1:1 mode the disabling of the pulleys virtually eliminates all bar pressure and provides a smooth power and depower band. Great for freeriding and unhooked wakestyle riding. The Powerdrive 2N1 S comes with our Bypass leash.

DURABILITY

A new robust construction with transitional strut reinforcements and higher strength materials in the durability prone areas.

The Convert tackles durability with a tough Dacron leading edge, struts, trailing edge and wing tip areas. These areas transition into the canopy with transitional strut reinforcement materials, creating a solid framework around the canopy.

The Prodigy is the perfect first board as it will get a rider tracking upwind with it easy to control handling. From there it'll grow with you as you quickly progress through the stages. The reason for its easy handling and smooth feel lies in the combination of its wood core, fast rocker line, and forgiving outline. The wood core is responsible for its flex and dampening through the choppy water. The fast rocker will get a rider up on a plane quickly yet allow him or her to control their speed through the Prodigy's superior edge control.

Built to last, the combination of a wood core and biax glass present a unique blend of weight and durability.

We've designed an entirely new component set to lower the weight and to raise the finish standard even higher. Our new 3D molded foot pad fits like a well worn shoe. The dual density EVA will cradle your foot from side to side and protect it from the impact of hard landings. The widebody adjustable foot strap is extremely simple to attach and easy to adjust to a perfect fit.
