Any product that Shawn Watson touches turns to gold... that's a proven fact.  So when he came to us with design changes for 2008, we decided we better listen.  Watson's boot is back in 2008, lighter, stronger, and more comfortable than ever.  While several major changes including our new Response plate system were incorporated into the '08 design, the same comfort fit you expect from a Watson boot remains constant.  No other high end boot offers the entire foot comfort, as well as board to boot response as Watson's.  While his boot may be as easy as an entry level boot to slide into, the performance is unmatched!

Newly Designed Liquid Liner 2

• Strobel Lasted- designed around a last (foot) for a more comfortable fit and better overall performance.
• Semi rigid shin cuff- Better function, support and ease of entry.
• No mechanisms needed to slide easily into this boot.

Response Plate System... LF Innovation for 2008!

• Our latest innovation is a two plate system that is the stiffest and most responsive plate system available.  Incredibly stiff and strong, lighter weight, more stance options... what more could you ask for?! *Optional 6" plate available for use with all 2008 LF Boards (can be used on 2007 and older boards, but will have less stance width options)... lower profile, lighter plate that allows board to flex more naturally.

Toe Spring in Foot-bed... new for 2008!

• 8mm of toe lift gives "gas pedal" effect and more power in toe-side edging.

Newly Designed, 0% Glass Chassis

• 100% Nylon Chassis provides a stronger base to resist damage from impact.  Coming down from 15 foot double up hits like Watson does can take a toll on the boots... our new chassis is ready for the challenge!

EVA Outsole... new for 2008!

• Over 1 lb lighter per boot than rubber outsoles... EVA is stronger and more durable, as well.

• Chassis is sandwiched, glued, and stitched between multiple layers of overlay to provide the ultimate in strength and durability.

Newly Designed Orthopedic EVA Foot-bed

• Shaped after the world's most "correct" orthopedic shoe... provides more correct arch support for less cramping and fatigue.  Watson can stay out on the water all day with these pillows!
